We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our process for discipleship. Out of this gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers in Children's Ministry minister to our 1st - 5th graders during Sunday worship service through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and lead Power Up.
We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them during our gatherings. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Children's Ministry here at Valley, please connect with us.
Our Student Ministry here at Valley is led by our Student Ministry Pastor, but is driven by our passionate Adult and Student volunteers.
Students from 7-12th grade are invited to participate in our Student Ministry Team (SMT). This team meets monthly to plan events, improve the weekly programming, and get trained in Leadership. It's a big commitment, but it's a valuable time for all the students involved!
Adult volunteers have the opportunity to help lead our midweek program by hanging out with students, leading games and other activities, leading small groups, and serving in a variety of other ways.
If you have a passion for seeing the message of the Gospel transform the lives of our students, serving in the Student Ministry might just be the place for you!
Because our LifeGroups are so central to the life here at Valley, we are always in need of more people to host, lead and co-lead a group. For more information about how to serve in a LifeGroup, click here.
