Easter at Valley

Sunday, April 5th, 9:00 AM

Easter is the central celebration of the Christian faith, marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Christians believe that through His death on the cross and His victory over the grave, Jesus made a way for the forgiveness of sins and the promise of new life for all who trust in Him. Easter is a joyful reminder of God’s love, grace, and power, and it points to the hope we have in Christ—both now and for eternity.

Flowering the cross

The flowering of the cross reminds us that the cross, once a symbol of death, has become a symbol of life through the resurrection of Jesus. As we place flowers on the cross, we celebrate that Christ has turned sorrow into joy and death into new life. On Easter morning, you are invited to bring a fresh flower (or several) to place on the cross as we gather for worship, joining together as a church family in this beautiful symbol of the resurrection.
